Cockfosters

Overview
Encompassing everything you need from a small town, Cockfosters is still just 30 minutes from London. The tube station itself is an architectural highlight; designed by modernist architect Charles Holden, it brings style to the neighbourhood, which has grown around the popular town centre. As new housing has developed, parades of shops, restaurants and bars have filled the town centre all bordered by a wealth of luscious green space.
Famous for being the last stop on the Piccadilly Line, commuters leave their city life behind them as they step off the tube to enjoy the tranquillity, rich culture and laid back lifestyle that living in Cockfosters offers. Families, professionals and couples benefit from the balance of a peaceful countryside home with easy access to urban spirit.

Did you know?
Cockfosters is the home of Trent Park, one of Henry IV’s old hunting grounds, a sprawling 169 hectare country park. It’s even thought that Camelot was once located here, hidden in the woods on the fringe of Trent Country Park, also known as Camlet Moat.

Play?
As you get older there are many childish behaviours that you grow out of, but climbing trees and being adventurous is one that you should continue to experience your whole life! Go Ape has chosen the most magical forests to be the home of their spectacular treetop adventures, and none more so than the beautiful woodland of Trent Park.

Bringing performance and education to North London, the Chickenshed Theatre uses the stage to celebrate and share its pioneering work, whether you want to get involved or just observe. Opening its doors to the community, you are invited to be a part of the Chickenshed movement.
